Robbers strike at nationalised bank, break 40 lockers

The robbers entered the Reru branch of Punjab and Sind Bank by breaking the lock at the main gate, and then dismantled the lockers with the help of gas cutters, DCP Sarabjeet Singh said.

The bank management came to know about the heist this morning after which the police was informed, Singh said.

The bank staff is making a list of the looted valuables, he said, adding that investigations into the matter are on.
