Based on a complaint filed by the owner of the robbed house Hari Mohan, a case has been registered against unknown persons, they said.
Hari Mohan runs a chemical factory here. Robbers barged into Hari's house when he and his family had gone to attend a marriage function in the nearby area, police said.
"Hari told police that jewellery worth Rs 6 lakh was looted and Rs 60,000 was also missing from the house. We are scanning footage of CCTV installed in nearby areas to identify the robbers," said a police officer.
