According to a press release issued here, the makers are planning a period movie which would be made in Hindi, but the story would be based in Punjab.
"We have been trying to plan something since few years now with Sanjay Dutt. I have been a fan of his (Dutt) work always and it will be a fan boy moment for me to work with him," Rohit said in a statement here.
Rohit is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie "Sardaarji 2", a sequel to last year's blockbuster "Sardaarji".
Dutt is busy working on Siddharth Anand's film. He also has a film with "Oh My God" fame director Umesh Shukla and the third instalment of "Munnabhai" series with Rajkumar Hirani.
