Romanian DJ Edward Maya, a sensation in Europe is all set to rock Indian music industry with collaborations with Bollywood singers in his upcoming projects.
Maya, who has been giving the Indian audience a taste of his music from time to time through frequent concerts and gigs in the past, recently performed in Bangalore along with artists like Amkit Tiwari and DJ Chetas at MTV Bollyland, a music festival conceptualized by Viacom 18.
The 'Stereo Love' hit maker who is currently working on a single with singer Sona Mahapatra for Director Onir's upcoming movie 'Shab', says Indian culture is something that inspires him and his music.
"I have my inspiration from different genres of music like Indian cultural and music, I will make a combination and this gives me a taste for the new song that we will make," Maya told PTI in an interview over e-mail.
The singer's latest album, "Angels" released last year is all about the people he loves from his soul and the sound is more calm and relaxing.
"Angel is an noncommercial album. The songs are from another inspiration, another world. It is something that I have done for the people I love and direct from my soul. It's a new sound that I put in new tracks. Angels - something different and very, very chill, relaxing and acoustic," says Maya.
