A number of Muslims from various parts of the country and Pakistan have come to attend Urs, officials said.
Observed every year in 'Safar' month of the Islamic calendar, Urs provides an opportunity not only for Muslims but also for Hindus and Sikhs to pay obeisance to the Sufi saint and enjoy the fair organised on the occasion and purchase handicraft goods.
Rouza Sharif head Syed Mohammad Sadiq Raza Majaddadi, said, pilgrims from various countries come here to pay obeisance at the tomb of Sufi saint Sheikh Ahmad Farooqui.
