Royal Enfield sales rise 42 pc in April

Royal Enfield, a Eicher Motors Group company, has recorded 42 per cent rise in its total sales at 48,197 units in April.
The niche bike manufacturer sold 33,918 units during the same month last year, a company statement said.
Domestic sales in April 2016 grew by 42 per cent to 47,037 units, from 33,118 units sold during same month of last year.
On exports front, the company witnessed 45 per cent increase last month to 1,160 units, from 800 units sold in April 2015.
