Royal Enfield sales up 66% in August

Total sales during the month were 26,643 units, compared with 16,062 units a year ago

Two-wheeler maker Royal Enfield today reported 66 per cent increase in total sales in August at 26,643 units.

The company had sold 16,062 units in the same month last year, Royal Enfield said in a statement.

Domestic sales during the month stood at 26,121 units as against 15,708 units in August last year, up 66 per cent.

Exports during last month were at 522 units as against 354 units in the year-ago period.
