"We have decided to fight next year's elections together and will contest on all Lok Sabha seats in UP," RPD legislator D P Yadav told reporters here.
Asked whether RPD would get into alliance with any other party Yadav said, "We are holding talks with other parties... And if something fruitful happens, some more regional parties are likely to join us soon."
The RPD leader said he would contest next year's Lok Sabha polls from Badaun, Sambhal or Aonla seat.
On questions whether he tried to join Samajwadi Party before 2012 state assembly polls , Yadav said he had only talked about seat sharing and SP leaders Ram Gopal Yadav and Mohammad Azam had agreed to it.
SP state president Akhilesh Yadav had rejected Yadav's entry in the party citing his criminal background as the reason.
