RPI workers staged protests at Mumbai Central and Borivali railway stations and also held demonstrations in some other areas, party sources said.
RPI leader Ramdas Athawale said the government should complete the process of transfer of the land from the National Textile Corporation (NTC), which owns the mill in Central Mumbai.
The government should also ensure that the memorial is completed soon, he said.
