Gulati said the action had been taken against Daljeet Singh, posted at Faridkot, as he is a close relative of Sadhu Singh, the Aam Adami Party candidate from Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency.
Bachan Singh is a relative of Sher Singh Ghubaya, a SAD-BJP candidate from Ferozepur constituency. He has been transferred to Amritsar till the completion of poll process.
The CEO has also sought detailed report on carpeting of roads and installation of electricity poles in Lambi Lok Sabha constituency in alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) as reported in a section of media from Muktsar's Deputy Commissioner.
Besides, the Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur has been asked to send a report regarding a complaint received against alleged violation of MCC in which it was alleged that Municipal Council's vehicles were being used for Narendra Modi's proposed election rally preparations.
