Rs 2.4 crore in cash seized from six in Telangana

: Unaccounted cash totalling Rs 2.4 crore was seized here from six people allegedly supporters of the Congress, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a two-wheeler and a car were intercepted and the six people were found to be carrying the cash meant to bribe voters in Nalgonda, the police said.

As of April 8, cash, liquor and drugs, among other items, worth over Rs 62.34 crore have been seized across Telangana since March 10.
