Rs 250 cr for development of villages in Noida

Noida Authority has sanctioned Rs 250 crore under the village development budget this year, a senior official said today.
The authority has planned to develop villages at par with other sectors of Noida, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Vijay Yadav said.
"In wake of the increasing population in rural areas, the laying of sewer line has been started and it will be followed by construction of more roads," he said.
Parks will be developed in vacant land of villages, the Noida authority official said.
"Last year, the village development budget was Rs 170 crore and Rs 71 crore in 2010-11. This year it has been raised to Rs 250 crore," Yadav said.
