Rs 3 lakh solatium to kin of three persons killed by elephant

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today announced a solatium of Rs.Three lakh each to the families of three persons, who were killed by wild elephants in Coimbatore and Nilgiris District last month.
In her message, she expressed her deep condolences to the bereaved family and asked the forest department to pay the relief mount immediately.
One Rangaraj of Naickenpalayam and Nagaraj of Thekkupalayam in Coimbatore district were killed by elephant on January 7 and 8, while Ravi was trampled to death in Thattamparai in Nilgiris district on January 11.
