Rs 40 lakh in Indian, foreign currency seized at Goa airport

The Air Intelligence Unit of Goa Customs today seized foreign and Indian currency worth Rs 40 lakh from a Gujarat-based passenger who had arrived from Dubai.
The passenger -- name not disclosed -- had arrived by an Air India flight and was intercepted when he was walking through the green channel, a Customs release said.
Further probe is on.
