Rs 5.92 lakh looted from stamp vender's agent

Armed criminals today looted Rs 5.92 lakh cash from a stamp vendor's agent on Hajipur-Lalganj road under Sadar police station area in Bihar's Vaishali district, a police officer said.
The stamp vender's agent Sunil Kumar Gupta was travelling by an auto rickshaw to deposit Rs 5.92 lakh in the Hajipur treasury, when three armed criminals robbed the cash kept in a bag from him at gun point, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rashid Jama said.
Raids were on to nab the culprits, he added.
