Rs 5 coin to commemorate Acharya Tulsi birth centenary to be

: The Reserve Bank of India would shortly put into circulation five Rupee coins minted by the government of India to commemorate the occasion of "Acharya Tulsi Birth Centenary."
On the reverse, the face of the coins bear the picture of "Acharya Tulsi" in the centre, among other things, the RBI said in a statement here.
These coins are legal tender as provided in The Coinage Act 2011, it said, adding existing coins in this denomination will also continue to be legal tender.
