A senior CBN official said that based on a tip-off, one of the accused Ravinder Kumar Sharma (40), was arrested from Pipaliyahana area here yesterday, and around 54 kg of poppy husk was recovered from his house.
According to the official, Sharma hails from Punjab and has been involved in the illegal purchase and sale of poppy husk.
"During his interrogation, Singh told the sleuths that he had sold poppy husk to an eatery owner in Susner in Malwa district and his son. Following this, 50-year-old Raghu Singh and his son Kamal Singh (25) were also arrested," the official added.
