Rs 7 lakh worth ornaments burgled

: Gold ornaments worth Rs seven lakh were stolen from the house of a jeweller in Selvapuram in the city today, police said.
The burglary was noticed this evening after the jeweller came home and saw the door broke open, they said.
Besides ornaments, the burglars also decamped with Rs 45,000 cash.
Police rushed to the spot with fingerprint experts. services of sniffer dogs were also requisitioned.
