"The 'path sanchalan' programme on the occasion of 90th foundation day of the RSS has been postponed in view of ongoing protests against the incidents of sacrilege," RSS prantiya sanghchalak Brij Bhushan Singh Bedi said.
He said the programme has been postponed in view of the "unfavourable" condition due to the protest, that has resulted in road blockades at various places in the state.
The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh functionary also said that as of yet no future date for 'path sanchalan' has been decided
Punjab remained tense today with Sikh activists continuing protests against incidents of sacrilege and killing of two youth in police firing last week while central para military forces held flag marches.
