"Land mafia working as property dealers encroached 3 beegha land of Nagarpalika Bandikui (Dausa district) some ten years ago and constructed at least 70 shops for commercial purpose on the main road," Manoj Goliya, activist and a local scribe, said during a press conference here.
"The encroached land is worth crores of rupees. On my every RTI query I got life threats. Once Dausa police arrested me from Jaipur on February 3 this year and later released just to terrorise me," Goliya claimed.
Dausa police and land mafia were working jointly to keep the shops running, he alleged.
The activist said if required he would go to court to seek justice.
