The 37-year-old comedian's show will be based on the lines of his tour "Round the World", which is currently in its final stages, reported Variety.
The special is yet to be titled and will premiere on Netflix in the UK and internationally later this year.
Talking about his new show, Howard said, "I'm really looking forward to making a special for Netflix. I've enjoyed watching so many of their stand-up specials, and to record my own for them is great."
It will be shot in 4K at his performances in Brighton, England, this weekend.
