Mani, who has been appointed with immediate effect, will report to Hyundai Motor India Managing Director Young Key Koo, the company said in a statement.
Prior to this, he served as Vice President Operations Control at Maruti Suzuki India where he worked for over 28 years and discharged several senior executive level responsibilities in manufacturing, strategy, operations, vector alignment etc.
An alumnus of The Institution of Engineers, Calcutta, Mani completed his post graduate degree in Business Management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
The Korean carmaker company also exports to over 85 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Australia.
