Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), country's one of the most respected commercial organisation has said it will work with the Indian High Commission here to facilitate local companies venturing into India.
"SICCI will set up a one-stop centre to provide advisory services on setting up of businesses in India, facilitate networking opportunities through seminars, workshops and trade missions, market research and sharing of business information and business leads," SICCI chairman R Theyvendran said yesterday.
The forum had announced its initiatives in line with Venture India drive in September.
"In an increasingly competitive business environment, SICCI's Trade Match programme aims to help the Chamber's members and companies based in Singapore to internationalise," he said at a Diwali celebration yesterday.
The programme is also designed for the business community to build collaboration and networks, facilitate learning and improve capacity to enhance business practices in Singapore and around the region, said Theyvendran.
SICCI, in partnership with the Singapore Business Federation, would be leading a business mission to Gujarat in January in conjunction with the Seventh Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
The chamber's next year plan includes an international trade conference which would bring together businessmen from the South East Asian region.
