Deputy Chief Minister and party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal said Darshan Singh Kotfatta will contest from Malout Assembly seat, Harpreet Singh will from Bhucho and Amit Ratan will be the party candidate from Bathinda rural Assembly constituency.
Kotfatta is presently the MLA from Bathinda rural, while Harpreet Singh is legislator from Malout.
Badal said the party will soon declare the rest of candidates on the remaining nine seats of its share as per alliance agreement with the BJP.
Shiroman Akali Dal (SAD) has already declared its candidates for 82 seats. With today's announcement party has now announced a total of 85 candidates.
