SAIL awards employees

The Steel Authority of India
(SAIL) awarded the Jawahar award & Nehru Vishistha Karmachari Puraskar to 27 employees of its central marketing organisation (CMO) in the city, a company release said today.
The award was given by SAIL director (Commercial) Binod Kumar and awardees were chosen from more than 1,700 marketing employees across the country on the basis of their performance, it said.
The award & puraskar scheme was instituted in the CMO in 1993-94 to encourage and reward innovative and exemplary performance of its employees in their respective areas of work.
