A student of Jijamata Kanya Prashala, a girls school at Akluj in Solapur district, Rinku recently filled up the form for the SSC exam as an external candidate.
She has been away from Akluj since 'Sairat' released in April to a rousing reception, taking part in promotional and celebratory events and appearing on TV shows.
'Sairat' has become the highest grossing film in the history of Marathi cinema by entering the 'Rs 100-crore club'.
She secured 81 per cent marks in her Class IX exam. A day after she got a special mention when the National Film Awards were announced, Rinku had appeared for the exam earlier this year.
