Samsung kicks-off festive sale from today

Consumer Electronics major Samsung today said it has commenced its festive sale offers across categories like TV, refrigerator, microwave, AC and washing machine, valid till October 22.
The offers include assured gifts, warranty schemes, flexi EMI scheme, long term tenure schemes and zero down payment.
"The festive season is the time when most of our consumers look forward to upgrading to newer and smarter technologies," Samsung India Vice President, Consumer Electronics Business Rajeev Bhutani said.

Midea forays into water purifier segment * Home appliances maker Midea today said it has forayed in to water purifier segment, with the launch of Midea water purifiers priced up to Rs 23,000.

The company said it is India's first ever water purifier with a copper storage tank besides other features like UV Guard Protection, among others.
"The new range of water purifiers are technologically advanced and have especially been designed keeping Indian consumers and market conditions in mind," Carrier Midea India Managing Director Krishan Sachdev said.
Carrier Midea India is a JV between Carrier and Midea.
