"Through Channel Nine, we have made our retail foray into the women's branded apparel category. Channel Nine will be available pan India through the group's distribution network including national retail chains, multi-brand outlets, exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) and online digital platforms including its own e-commerce website," Sangam India managing director S N Modani said in a statement here.
The company is in the process of achieving manufacturing volumes of 3.6 million units per annum. We intend to make inroads into the domestic lingerie retail market estimated to be approximately Rs 15,000 crore now and growing at a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 20-25 percent, Modani said.
Sangam Group is engaged in various industries of textile, steel, real estate, infrastructure and power. The group has an extensive domestic presence and also has been exporting to more than 50 countries for over 15 years.
