Sanitary worker suffers injury

A sanitary worker suffered minor injury in his leg when some mysterious object among the garbage he had collected burst when he dumped the garbage in the dustbin at Munichalai here.
Police said that some people in the area heard a loud noise similar to the bursting of a cracker and rushed and found that the worker Pandi suffered simple injuries due to glass splinters from the dust bin, which flew following the blast.
The bomb squad experts said that some unused bulbs have burst as he gathered them and dumped them on the dustbin. The splinters looked like glass pieces of bulbs.

The sanitary workers was treated as out patient and discharged.
