Sanitation worker sustains burn injuries in cracker burst

A sanitation worker sustained burn injuries when some crackers lying in a heap of garbage burst in Chetganj area here today, police said.
The incident occurred when the worker was engaged in wastage disposal in Pitarkunda locality, Circle Officer (Chetganj) Anurag Arya said.
The crackers, lying in the heap of garbage, burst due to the pressure put by the releasing of waste from the trolley at the dumping site, he said.
The worker was identified as Prakash and has been admitted to a government hospital, he said, adding further investigations are on.
