The company had posted a net profit of Rs 72.5 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Sanofi India said in a BSE filing.
Net sales during the period under review stood at Rs 582.8 crore as against Rs 552.8 crore in the corresponding quater last fiscal, up 5.42 per cent.
The board of directors of the company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 18 per equity share of Rs 10 for the year ending December 2016, it added.
Shares of Sanofi India closed at Rs 4,241.05 apiece, down 0.81 per cent from the previous close on BSE.
