Lawsuit filed in court against President's book

A lawsuit was today filed in a Delhi court seeking a decree declaring a portion of President Pranab Mukherjee's book 'Turbulent Years 1980-1996' relating to the demolition of the Babri Masjid which it claimed hurt Hindu sentiments.
The civil suit filed by a group of lawyers also sought a direction to the President to delete the alleged objectionable facts from the book and also issue a public notice of the deletion.
The plaint filed by four advocates and a social worker is likely to come up for hearing tomorrow before District Judge Amar Nath.
The suit filed through advocate Vishnu Jain claimed that the President's book says that "the demolition of Babri Masjid was an act of absolute perfidy which should make all Indians hang their hands in shame."

It further alleged that by making bald averments against Hindus and in favour of Babri Masjid, the President has made to believe that the demolished structure was a 'Mosque' and that 'Hindus' were responsible of "intolerant act".
