Santhali made optional language in West Bengal PSC

Santhali was today included as an optional language for examinations under the Public Survice Commission in West Bengal.
"The decision was today taken in the state cabinet meeting to benefit Santhali speaking people in the state," state Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee said here.
With this, Santhali speaking people in the state would also enjoy rights at par with Hindi and Urdi speaking people here, the minister said.
