"Sany Group... Today signed two MoUs (Memorandum of Understandings) with the Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao for the investment to set up prefab factory and construction of dry ports in the state," the company said in a statement.
However, the company did not give investment details.
Sany group Chairman Liang Wengen said: "As part of our investment and expansion plans in India, we are happy to associate with Telangana state government for our housing industrialisation and port solutions business."
Rao said, "As part of our next step towards the development and modernisation of the state, we are excited to associate with Sany to build fabricated housing using their pre cast concrete technology and for the development of dry ports."
The state government is looking forward to bring affordable housing and world class dry ports in the state with this partnership, Rao added.
