Saria weakens on muted demand

Saria prices fell by Rs 500 per tonne at the steel market today owing to slackened demand from constructions units.
Traders said besides sluggish demand from construction units, adequate stocks position in the market kept pressure on saria prices.
In the national capital, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 38,300, Rs 36,500 and Rs 35,900 per tonne respectively. Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 35,900 per tonne.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 38,300, 10-mm Rs 36,500, 12-mm Rs 35,900, 16-25 mm Rs 35,900.

Angle Capital (IS) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600, Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
