Sayeed met Heptulla here this morning and Member Parliament and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti was also present on the occasion, an official spokesman said.
During their meeting, Sayeed discussed various issues, especially those related to better use of Wakf properties so as to make these revenue-generating assets, hardships faced by students pursuing studies outside the state under PMSSS and release of post-matric scholarship to the students of the state.
He said the union minister also discussed with the Chief Minister the new scheme - USTAAD - launched by her ministry for skill development of youth, which is aimed at improving their employability in the private and Government sectors.
