The matter concerning the SC category not getting due reservation in teaching and non-teaching posts in the university was brought to our notice. The Commission had then summoned the vice chancellor and the registrar of the varsity, Chairman of the SC Commission Rajesh Bagha said.
The Commission directed the university to implement the reservation policy while recruiting teachers and non-teaching staff, Bagha said in a statement today.
This has been done to ensure that the deserving candidates belonging to the SC category get job opportunities.
