Scattered rainfall in parts of Uttar Pradesh

With southwest monsoon remaining weak over Uttar Pradesh, parts of the state received light to moderate rainfall today.
According to the MeT department, Lalitpur and Mauranipur received 2 cm rainfall each followed by Mirzapur and Kirawali which received 1 cm rainfall each.
The MeT department has forecast rain or thundershowers at many places in the state on August 7 and 8.
