"Between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM, the rain gauge at Safdarjung recorded 0.8 mm of rainfall while areas under Ridge, Palam and Lodhi road recorded 28.2 mm, 10.7 mm and 1.8 mm of rains during the same period. Nil rainfall was recorded in Ayanagar," said a MeT department official.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
The humidity in air oscillated between 65 and 88 per cent.
"The skies will be generally cloudy. Rain or thunder shower would occur in many areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow are likely to hover at 34 and 26 degrees Celsius," said the weatherman.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled at 37 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius.
