Schedule of J & K assembly polls

Following is the schedule of five phase polls for the 87-member Jammu and Kashmir assembly:
Phase one will cover 15 assembly seats for which the notification will be issued on October 28 and the last date of filing nomination is November 5. Date of scrutiny of documents will be held on November 7 and the last date of withdrawal is November 10. Polling will take place on November 25.
The constituencies going to polls in the first phase are Gurez, Bandipore and Sonawari (Baramullah Lok Sabha seat), Kangan and Ganderbal (Srianagar Lok Sabah seat), Nobra, Leh, Kargil and Zanaskar (Ladakh) and Kishtawar, Inderwal, Doda, Bhaderwah, Ramban and Banihal (Udhampur Parliamentary seat).
The notification for Phase two poll, covering 18 seats, will be issued on November 7, with last date of making nomination a week later. November 15 will be the date of scrutiny and November 17 will be the last date of withdrawal. Election for these seats will be held on December 2.
The seats going to polls in the second phase are Gulabgarh, Reasi, Gool arnas, Udhampur, Chenani and Ramnagar (Udhampur Lok Sabha seat), Surankote, Mendhar and Poonch Haveli (Jammu LS seat), Karnah, Kupwara, Lolab, Handwara and Langate (Baramullah LS seat), Noorabad, Kulgam, Home-Shalibugh and Devsar (Anantnag Lok Sabha seat).
Phase three will cover 18 assembly seats for which the notification will be issued on November 14. The last date of filing nomination is November 21 with scrutiny the next day. Last date of withdrawal will be November 24 and elections will be held on December 9.
The seats going to poll in the third phase are Uri, Rafiabad, Sopore, Sangrama, Baramulla, Gulmarg and Pattan (Baramulla Lok Sabha seat), Chadoora, Badgam, Beerwah, Khansahib and Chrar-i- Sharief (Srinagar LS seat), Tral, Pampore, Pulwama and Rajpora (Anantnag LS seat).
Phase four will see polling in 18 assembly seats for which the notification will be issued on November 19 and last date of filing nomination is November 26. The last date of withdrawal is November 29 and polling will take place on December 14.
The constituencies going to polls in this phase are Hazratbal, Zadibal, Idgah, Khanyar, Habbakadal, Amirakadal, Sonawar and Batamaloo (Srinagar LS constituency), Anantnag, Doru, Kokernag, Shangus, Bijbehara, Pahalgam, Wachi and Shopian (Anantnag LS constituency) and Samba and Vijaypur (Jammu Lok Sabha seat).
Phase five, the last one, will cover 20 seats for which the notification will be issued on November 26. The last date of nomination withdarwal is December 6 and polling will take place on December 20.
The seats going for polls in the last phase are: Bani, Basohli, Kathua, Billawar and Hiranagar (Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency), Nagrota, Gandhinagar, Jammu East, Jammu West, Bishnah, R S Pura, Suehetgarh, Marh, Raipur Domana, Akhnoor, Chhamb, Nowshara, Darhal, Rajouri and Kalakote (Jammu LS seat).
