Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said a scheme to operate Metro from Sector 22 of Dwarka to IFFCO Chowk in Gurgaon has been prepared.
A proposal to this effect has been sent for approval, he said here.
On water-logging at Hero Honda Chowk in Gurgaon, he said the natural flow of rainwater was hindered due to the "shortcomings" in planning of development projects.
"Deliberations are being held with the people of village Khandsa for redressal of the problem," he said, adding this would result in "permanent resolution" of the problem of overflow of Badshahpur drain.
Asked about repair of roads in Faridabad, he said, "All roads would be repaired after the rainy season ends."
He said that the Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry had approved the state government's Greater Southern Peripheral Road scheme for expansion of Northern Peripheral Road-Southern Peripheral Road.
Replying to a question regarding CBI searches on the residences of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and some others at various places in the state including at Chandigarh yesterday, Khattar said the Congress leader had said several times that any investigation could be conducted by the agency.
"If he thinks he has not done anything wrong, then he should welcome the investigation," he added.
