While confirming the incident Additional Superintendent of Police Brijesh Srivastava said the victim has denied molestation attempt by alleged kidnappers.
The miscreants allegedly kidnapped the girl from Bareily when she was on her way to school, police said.
They allegedly tied her mouth with a cloth and took her to Bareily railway station and boarded Sitapur-Delhi passenger train, they said.
Police said that as the train moved the perpetrators allegedly told fellow passengers that the girl was unwell.
When a passenger went to use the toilet he found the girl there. She was wearing school uniform, they said.
The girl was deboarded at Bilpur railway station between Lucknow and Bareily, they said.
Srivastava said the girl was unaware as to why she was kidnapped. She has been handed over to her parents and investigation is on, he said.
