Nearly 30 kids of the school participated in the event held in the presence of Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Professor G S N Raju, Visakhapatnam Bar Association President N Prithi Raj, Andhra University's Head of the Department of Mathematics Professor P Ranga Rao, India Book of Records representative H Bharadwaj as well as parents of the kids.
The organisers selected second standard mathematics question paper for the event and the kids answered it in 10.2 minutes flat.
Director of the School M Rama Naidu said that the school was established in 2001 to impart stress-free education to kids without books, home work and writing.
He said that normally it would take 90 minutes for second standard or third standard students to do 100 mathematics calculations.
The school teaches children for only about five hours in a day following the concept of "more education with less books".
