Premsingh Shravan Chavan, employed with a Zilla Parishad-run school in Vikramgadh town of the district, was arrested last evening after the nine-year-old girl's parents lodged a complaint, they said.
Sub-Inspector P S Naik of Vikramgadh Police Station said Chavan, who was the class teacher of Standard III, used to molest the complainant and other girls on the pretext of checking their homework.
He has been booked under relevant sections of IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
