Science city coming up in Patna

The Bihar government has decided to construct a modern science city including a non conventional energy village here, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said today.
The city would come up in an area of 15 acres of land near Moinul-Haq stadium at an estimated cost of Rs 500 crore, Kumar said after inaugurating a mirror gallery in Shri Vigyan Kendra here.
He stressed that science centre like the one in Patna should also be established in other cities like Gaya, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur.
Director of Birla Science Museum, Kolkata, S K E Islam, Chairman of Bihar Intermediate Council Rajmani Sinha and Deputy Director of National Science Museum A S Manekar were present on the occasion.
