Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way will be producing the project along with Kevin McCormick 's Langley Park, reported Variety.
The story revolves around a hunter in Yellowstone National Park who accidentally kills an endangered American wolf, and follows the unlikely friendship that forms between him and the wildlife researcher who works with wolves in the park.
Appian Way also backed Cooper's 2013 film "Out of the Furnace.
