SDMC's Standing Committee Chairman Satish Upadhyay asked the task force to be constituted comprising officials from engineering and sanitation departments and other specialists to meet the monsoon challenges.
Upadhyay took a meeting today with senior officials of the civic body's South Zone. Deputy Commissioner of South Zone Vijay Vidhuri attended the meet.
Upadhyay asked the officials about the preparation of the monsoon action plan. He directed the concerned officials for desilting of all the drains of South Zone and also asked the officials to take up a meeting with other agencies like PWD regarding meeting monsoon challenges.
He also asked the officials about the property tax collection camps organised in each ward.
He also discussed about sanitary conditions of schools, street lights, building plan, issue of birth and death certificates, development of rural areas, among others.
