The civic body has issued 21,528 legal notices and launched 1,151 prosecutions in the aftermath of two latest dengue and one malaria cases reported from South Delhi.
The number of dengue cases reported so far has gone up to six, said a senior SDMC official.
"Out of the 1,62,933 houses sprayed with anti-larval agents, 24,246 houses were found positive for breading. 21,528 legal notices were issued and 1,151 prosecutions launched" he said.
Senior SDMC officials have instructed the Public Health department officials to step up anti-malaria and dengue measures and also asked both the health personnels and the residents to remain alert in the wake of rainy season ahead.
