For its total collection of Rs 474.27 crore during the period between April 1 and September 6, SDMC brought 3,64,859 tax-payers under its tax net. Of this total number, 62,655 paid manually while 3,02,204 paid tax online.
Among the four zones falling under SDMC, the Central Zone has collected the maximum tax of Rs 115.32 crore while Najafgarh posted the lowest collection at Rs 31.60 crore.
The South Zone registered Rs 95.08 crore while the West Zone's collection stood at Rs 56.21 crore.
