Sea remains rough in several places in TN

The sea was rough at several places in south Tamil Nadu today and fishermen were cautioned not to venture out for fishing.
The sea off Rameswaram, Pamban, Mandapam, Keezhakari, Erwadi and Nagapattinam among other places remained rough amid gusty wind.
Hence, fishermen had been cautioned not to enter the sea for fishing, Assistant Director of Fisheries K T Gopinath said.
The sea off Danushkodi was very rough and bathing had been prohibited, he said.
Police personnel have been posted along the coast in Danushkodi.
